had a couple of tubs of glyso for a couple of years now , doesnt seem as effective as when new , does it go off or a bit early to be using it?
Any referances for this? What is quite quickly? Maybe I should tip mine in the corner where the japanese knotweed lives....It goes off quite quickly once opened. Goes off very quickly once diluted.
I've had my 5L gallop/Gallup glyphosate opened since 15 April 2015. Still works fineIt goes off quite quickly once opened. Goes off very quickly once diluted.
works all right after a few years ihave some not the time of year to be using it . warmer weather and a good growth needed weeds need to be well up and a dry day rain ruins itThat is not great news as I bought 5L of Gallop for £60 ish last Autumn and used a litre or so. I guess in future I should buy in litres!
For now I may get out weedkilling again and keep using it.

but you wouldnt dilute it till you needed it . well i dont and dont leave any in the knapsack sprayer once done just the amount you needMy experience was that stuff stored over winter was much less effective than fresh, but I can't offer anything other than that (I'm sure I'd read somewhere that it went off after opening).
Life once diluted is ~6 months from the horse's mouth:

Find the most annoying god-botherer, spray a pentacle....Bang a load on the neighbours lawn. You’ll soon find out
Glyphosate is disolved potassium salts of glyphosate - I cannot think this would ever have a sell by date.
