I bought this TIG welder probably 15 years ago - seems to have all the various functions that you need all set by twiddle knobs, but I never really got to grips with it as I didn't need to at the time. Well it's sat bolted to the wall for the last eight years unloved since I moved here so I thought that I'd see if it still works.
Managed to run some quite passable beads in aluminium which was really pleasing, but I've never been able to find out anything about the maker or any proper details about the machine. The AC balance gives excellent cleaning.
It's unbelievably heavy - (I remember having to use my Forklift to put it on that shelf !) so obviously copper wound iron transformers - none of your modern inverter technology.
.. so does anyone recognise it - I'd be grateful for any information anyone might have.
