Does anyone mix their own gas ?

As I run MIG and TIG I set-up my own mixer per Ed Craig's website.
And then I came across a smith mixer for little money so run that now.

So I buy Argon & CO2, mix what I need, dial it up or down for short arc or spray, straight argon for TIG, straight CO2 for flux core.

I used to mix my own gas ,,, Nitrox or Tri Mix ,,, then I got a backpack that does it for me ,
But as for welding gas ,, nope .

I have previously done diving gas and pub gas so I was also happy enough to have a go at welding gas when I needed some 2% for stainless.
I only did it for a short while though as I found out you can buy it ready mixed for the same price so it wasn't worth the hassle for what I needed.

yep ,,, for welding its just not worth the hassles

Around here, I would need to stock a bunch of different bottles.
I only own Argon, Oxygen, and CO2

Different countries, different laws, different ways of doing things.
