Have not got my full speach back yet.
And,,,though this good?Yup Fangling controller same as my machine.
I know. That is just the controller - not the plasma cutter itself.
Are they only for these motorised cutters or can they be used with any cnc cutter?I know.
Runs my machine very well. has 50 standard shapes pre-loaded, Sheetcam has Post's for it.And,,,though this good?
Mine came with rails, first pix shows them, second pic not installed yet.Any rail supplied ....bared bones? That making digger-buckets quick-release.View attachment 471077
Easy to do, I make parts like that all the time.Any rail supplied ....bared bones? That making digger-buckets quick-release.View attachment 471077
So are rail and just stepper drive ?Easy to do, I make parts like that all the time.
it came with an oxy torch, and connections ready to hook up to your plasma.
so I attached my plasma to it, and we are running.
I made the oxy torch QC and have cut 1" plate with it so far.
I might be able to dig up the PDF drawing I made of the sides & water table I made for it.

Yes, "just stepper" drives. So are rail and just stepper drive ?
Mine does everything I've asked of it. What is yours not doing ?Looks very similar to my starfire 2100 controller, with a slightly different layout of function buttons.
I'm not a great fan of the starfire controller, it "does the job" I suppose, but it's not particularly user friendly.
It works, its just awkward and feels like it was designed in the 90s.Mine does everything I've asked of it. What is yours not doing ?
Mine doesn't act up when setting zero, and while the THC is a separate control, the 2 boxes play well together. It works, its just awkward and feels like it was designed in the 90s.
Eg. Setting XY zero. You set zero, then move it for some reason, then it sets a new zero when you press start.
Or importing gcode from sheetCAM. Its far from intuitive, and has 3 extra steps that it shouldn't need.
The built in shape library works fairly well.
It doesn't have any torch height control integrated, but that's not the end of the world.
I suppose for a low cost standalone control it does the job.
If I've only got space....Bought on £271.... I it a go...(1/2hr on type!)
I'd be interested in photo's of what arrives, unless it's just the control panel as i'm looking for a control system unit for my build project.Arriving but not only complete....with x-y only?
