I'm dredding the Duty and VAT. However I'm sure car parts over 50yrs, are duty free, or just 5% Need to look into that

you might be better shipping a complete used motor Dave if he has loads of Ex army stuff
still say they will be one in the UK somewhere that has been pulled for a V8

Better the devil you know... Other than low oil pressure after 20mins driving, it ran like a sewing machine, so buying another motor is a tin of worms, at least I know what's involved with this one and its the original motor.
