I looked into it a few yrs ago. And decided Caswel was the best of the cheap setups. The one you link to if I remember correctly doesnt have power adjustment; important for getting into corners etc. Didnt buy anything in the end

Mine was one of their cheap systems with only one voltage.
Worked fine.
Could have done with a stronger spring on the valve as I couldn't reliably drop the pressure below 15psi[I had to use needle nose pliers to shut the gun off at 10psi].
They started flogging multivoltage unit's around the time I bought mine[mine was a fixed voltage], They don't mention the multivoltage on the link you posted, maybe
they only sell the multivoltage unit, now? I think the control unit still looked like the PC03, but it had a switch on the back to select between voltages up to 50kv.

Didn't realise they were that cheap and that you could cure it with a heat gun

I just watched a video of their system and it's looks like it's a triboelectric gun, totaly different to the old electrostatic magic gun.
It looks much better than the old system.

The old system wasn't the cheapest, you could get the same setup from harbour freight for something like 50dollars; but you would have to be a pretty good swimmer.


I found pics of someone powder coating a bantam frame, with a home made tribo gun.
I asked about the gun and he wasn't telling. But he said it was better than the commercial unit he worked
with and he was going to sell plans on ebay. Not seen anything about it since.
