Hi,
Has anyone built their own trailer mounted HIAB.?
I am finding myself increasingly in need of safe lifting facilities.
I saw this and thought.....just what I need....but cheaper

Where does one get a HIAB 'cos ebay tends to be rip off city.

That trailer looks a little light to be getting any real lifting capacity unless the legs reach out a long way. Truck mounted ones usually rely to some extent on the weight of the truck as well as the outrigger.

Ebay itself isn't a ripoff, it's people getting suckered into auction frenzy rather than looking around for alternative sources... not to mention the number of people bidding on their own/ mates' gear. It used to be easy to spot but now they asterisk-out usernames you can't see it happening.

I bought a new Ifor Williams trailer (15% discount) for less than a S/H identical trailer was SELLING for on ebay.....crazy.!

Anyway, I am looking at converting my knackered mini digger into a HIAB crane.
It just needs wide outriggers.
