Hi again, noticed in the tutorial that the tip where the wire comes out, actually protrudes beyond the end of the shroud? mine is recessed about 1/4", would this explain why I sometimes can't get that nice sizzle?
Thanks in advance

Using .6 gas wire, on car roof, metal is thin as, I am welding 2mm metal to 1mm, and even though I have ground it nice and shiny, just doesn't run nicely, still working on settings, sheesh next welder I buy will have dials for Amps, either have High or Low, mine also has a 2nd switch that has 1 and 2 on it, any idea what this is, got the dial for wire speed.
Oh yeh, got distortion, my mistake for going too long, not a bad distortion, have fixed it, but a valuable lesson learnt. Machine sputters, not sizzle, seems like a lot of gas comes out but there is just not enough wire, tried adjusting speed then get burn thru . Getting good at filling holes
Thanks in advance
