Dissimilar rod/unknown parent metal filler

Got a few blades to weld as they are hair line cracking.
Blades grind almost like mild steel
I've only got er70s6 filler in stock

Blades for/from what?

Out of a forage wagon ,it picks up and chops grass for silage

The blades are static in use and a rotor moves the grass over them

Try 312. Not much that stuff won’t stick together in a fashion. Obviously a chemical analysis of the parent is the best case scenario but if you don’t know what it is and it’s not cast iron of course cos stainless doesn’t weld cast iron then 312 is your best bet.
