im looking for some empty 15kg spools if anyone has some mendip area , could do with 15 or 20 or happy to pay post + something for them , further away ,We use them for electric fencing for sheep

Made one successfully from a big 10mm t+e reel last year. Kept the kids amused for hours.

memory lane there . we used to make them a wooden whip and top as well
