What's the prob? Just had ours apart, wasn't filling properly and there was a tiny hole in the diaphram of one of the water inlet valves. A bit confusing as it appeared to work, just didn't pass enough water.

Its not a mech problem, I could sort that, but about 3/4 through a programme it gives out a loud buzzing noise for about 2 mins, (seems longer) then stops, other than that the machine works perfectly with no error codes showing.....as said, a bit stumped

although some where in the back of the old grey I seem to remember hearing about dicky caps causing a buzzing noise, can't see how mind.KemppiFrog

Does it do it on all programs?
will try it on others, pretty sure it will be across the range though.

AAAAAG!! I would rather watch the dishwasher than EE or Strickly.. Pity it doesn't have a window like the clothes washer.

Could be something in the waste water pump has collapsed, jamming the motor, brush warn out and come out of housing or impellar jammed?

Are you saying the machine stops or the buzzing stops?
As you've said other than that it works perfectly I'm assuming it's the buzzing which stops.
If the machine performs a full cleaning cycle then it rules out the pump as if that stops the machine won't drain, obviously.
Depending on the machine, the motor will probably be brushless which rules out those too.
If it goes on for two mins you should have plenty of time to find the source of the noise if you can run it with the outer casing off.

How old is the machine ? Do you run quick cycles on it all the time ? Have you run a cleaning cycle on it recently ?
We had a problem recently with it stopping mid cycle, the missus always puts it on express wash whereas I put it on a full hot wash.
Long story short but it was the main filter clogged with fatty crap, removed the filter and washed it in hot water and problem solved.
Also plan on running a hot wash with a jug of white vinegar in it and some soda crystals in the bottom to give everything a good cleanout.
