Further to my previous thread about Dis uilding a pick-up from my Discovery with rotten rear bodywork.
I know the rear is longer on the D2 than the D1.
Anyone tell me if the D2 rear load area floor, underbody crossmembers, inner wheel arches, inner wings are impervious to rot ?
I'm considering sourcing the rear off a frontal damaged D2 to provide the bulk of the panel for my own D1 conversion to a pick-up.
Outer panels unimportant as intend making an alternative to the originals (they didn't make a 3 door D2 anyway
Cheers.
