Disco 3 suspension adjustments

I was following my other half while she was driving the D3 the other day. It looked a tiny bit lopsided.

On measuring suspension heights when on the flat, the nearside rear was at 465mm from top of wheel to underside of arch when iit should be at 485mm. The offside rear is correct. Can I just up this by 20mm using my hawkeye without any adverse effect on the bushes? Fronts are more or less set correctly (or at least close enough to 466mm not to worry)

For 20mm I would not worry.
Measure it again after 50 miles and it will probably have changed anyway.
If it's never been messed with before I certainly wouldn't be messing with the software.
I believe the ride height sensors have a 1:20 ratio so that's just a 1mm tap with a hammer.


In theory, you should slaken the arm bush bolts, set ride height, then torque them again.
They don't last long even when installed correctly so I don't known if I'd bother loosening them either?

Haha. Maybe i will just tap it with a hammer then. I will give the sensor a once over as it might be a worn bush on that.

I know what you mean about it changing but it seems to consistently be on a slight wonk now that i have noticed it. My eye is always instantly drawn to things that arent level or square so now i cant unsee it!

Have you tried adjusting your glasses first?

put a squirt of lube round the height sensor bushes ,, probably a bit dry in this weather ,,, i use acf50 for jobs like this ,,, [ and many other jobs too ]
