Dimmable transformers

They don't seem to work...
They should be 11.4 VAC but my multimeter says around 0.5 volts. I think I mentioned it on here before and someone said something about them requiring an inductive loads.

Assuming they're not all simply broken, what am I doing wrong?

I want to use one to power an LED headlight bulb.

Looks like not enough load on them. If they are tungsten only units they shut down if there is not enough load as a protection mechanism. I.e. blown lamp.

Put a lamp on them and then see what you get as an output.

Preferable to use a led driver on led bulbs. some transformers run them some don't and wont. my test meter wont read of some transformers as said try a 50 watt bulb on them

If you look at the rating label it shows 20-60W. The minimum load you need is 20W, below this it won't work.
