Somebody came to my friend's bike shop the other year on a diesel Enfield. It sounded like a cement mixer on a building site.

have to admit, this sort of appeals to me, I like Diesels, the thing would never need filling, would be comical cutting about on a old bike with a little lister chugging away..comical

Could even run it on veggie oil possibly? Or red derv! no one would ever pull a motorbike for suspicion of running on it!

I think they are a great idea, slow as a boat but great mpg figures, the price of go juice is only going to increase.

there was a diesel turbo bandit at the ace last year, turns out it was a smart car engine in the frame

The daihatsu 3 cylinder diesel is supposed to be popular for converting bikes.
