die grinders

any one know if there is much between the metabo 950g plus and the 710 plus and if it makes much useful difference, no intention for heavy use at minute but if the 950 is a far better machine may as well go for that
next question is how good is the dewalt 18v brushless die grinder, i sold my soul to dewalt a few years ago cordless wise and have plenty of battery's but my head keeps telling me that corded will be better for a die grinder and i will only use it while welding so will have power there anyway lol

Look at the speed. The 710 is much faster and less powerful. Not sure mine are exactly the same models but I use the more powerful geared down one for wire brush and polishing, the other would be too fast and not enough torque for that.

I'm pretty sure mine is an old version of the 710 and it's great with a carbide burrs and abrasives, the 950 would probably be a bit slow.

You'll need the 710 if you intend to use carbide bits.
