Finally got to put the new (to me) Makita die grinder to the test last night.
Don't know how I ever managed without one before.
It's a really useful bit of kit and quiet too which makes a refreshing change.
Any cheap suppliers for flaps wheels out there that I haven't found yet? Bulk buys would be good. I bought some Garryson wheels and a bull nose Garryson burr and I'm impressed with both although the 25mm wheels don't last very long when shoved into the corners.
If anyone is considering buying one I'd say go for it. I hung out for a variable speed version which was sound advice.

tears through alu at an alarming rate using the carbide tools. Does give a lovely almost 'machined' finish.
