Boot floor from a Range Rover will be too short surely? The Discovery has an ever fatter ass!
A mate of mine fabricated an ally rear floor from checker plate, he added ribs underneath to stiffen it up. Worked a treat.
There's no MOT issues in doing this.
I'm going to put a ally boto floor in my '90 Range Rover, when I get my hands on an ally boot floor. The exisitng floor is starting to make efforts towards returning to it's natural state
Boot is longer in a Range Rover than a Discovery.
Discovery has a Spare wheel above the bumper then the door before the boot floor starts. Range Rover tailgate is almost over the top of the bumper.

Well, what a pain.
As you experienced Disco owners may have suspected, by the time we got the plastic trim off Mr Disco, there was a sorry tale to tell.
The bottom of the b-pillar was pretty bad and the hole I poked out that was 'within 12 inches' of the NS seat belt mount went almost all the way to the front.
Lots of spattering to do before it can go for an MOT. Sob.
