Diamond shaped Bull bar

I purchased a Silverado and wanted to make a push bar.
I looked online and found one I liked and made my version of it.
Mine is made of 1/4 inch thick 2 inch square tube.
I took 1/4 inch plate and boxed it and made it mount inside the frame.
I welded tabs for 2 round spots , 2 round driving and 2 rectangular driving lights.
I fully ground and polished all welds. I painted it to match the oem silver and it is a real close match.

Really like that, I'm going to have to use box like that in aesthetic stuff now, obv not as structurally sound as in the right plane? Might be wrong.

Shs is very strong on edge, Some stockcars use it that way

Should be quite a bit sturdier, I'd have thought. A lot less likey to dent/fold when pushing against the corner rather than the flat. I'd guess it's more detrimental to the piece being pushed though.

That looks awesome I'd never considered using box section for sumin like this I think it's far cooler than tubing
