just purchased a deviliss gti and it has a sata reg on it what pressure should this operate at as no mater how much pressure i have with the trigger depressed when i pull the trigger it drops straight down to about 9-10psi but i have noticed it does not have any preassure adjustment on the handle like my gfp has

Hi, the gti has a pressure screw on the bottom of the handle next to the air iinlet. Your sata reg should also adjust pressure.
It will have a Knob on the back or the reg face may turn to adjust.
To me it sounds like the gun isn't getting enough cfm
Hvlp guns operate at what ur spraying personal preference. But mines normally set to 2bar with the trigger pulled for top coats that is.
