Desperate lawn mowing

just gravel it over and go round with weed killer occasionally

So that's a lawn I often wondered.

Couple of these is needed i think...no fuel,bent cranks or risk of injury

No risk of injury!!! Dangerous things are goats.

All you do is walk up to it talking in a soft voice, then punch the fker right between the eyes to let it know the score, pecking order reset

Then walk away and put your now damaged hand under the tap.

Been away for a month and things are overgrown!
honda mower has a bent crank,so is difficult to start,the other mower can’t cope with the grass height,so in desperation I’m using this jockey wheel,it’s damn hard as the grounds full of holes and the wheels have a flat spot on each.
When this season’s over I’ll see if I can haggle for a discounted ride on.

Get the 12 year old mowing with that mower on a quad! What do you top your field with?

It'd have taken me longer to attach the flail to the little New Holland 1220 than it would have to mow that, mind you it does mow 4ft at a time

The price of a "new" ride-on you could get a decent little compact tractor and flail to go on the back. Been tempted to see if I can demo a finishing mower as now I've given up maintaining the Abbey ruins I don't need the flail as much.

See if you can get finishing flails for your mower.

Goat will eat anything - also they will climb anything - I seen them on bungalow tiled roofs before.

Having lived up the road from goats, they can be quite vocal. And as said they are adept climbers. I'd imagine they make an escape pretty easy too.

See if you can get finishing flails for your mower.

It does a neater job than the ride on I had before the reason behind a finishing mower was the wheels.

Our lawns aren't flat by any means and it takes a bit of finessing of the top link to do a neat cut when the ground is slightly damp because the skids dig in at the front. Basically I normally try and lift the skids off completely so it's running on the roller on the back. A finishing mower that sits on big wheels would make it quicker to mow the 4 acres of garden I suspect as I could turn more easily.

I misread that ,for a moment I thought "bloody cleaver goats" then I realised the word was "tiled".
