My turn to apologise! Thanks for the reply, yea it's working fine now - I did a thread on the runout we were having but with the help of people on here, we managed to straighten out the spindle, so all good now. They are beautiful things!HI Chris,

I never could find much more info. I'm guessing at 40's or 50's going only by similarity of designs that are dated, mainly from Tony Griffiths' web pages here: www.lathes.co.uk
