Delicate sound of rain on the garage door. Noooo. Just painted something!

After a few days of thinking about going and buying some paint, getting another powder coating gun, brushing on epoxy and 2pack.
I bit the bullet and stuck the three parts of a petrol tank mount outside, mixed 17g of epoxy and put a coat on the bits.
After a matter of minutes I heard the rain hit the open garage door!
I have bought the gun, and both bit's of tank mount in.
The rain is getting heavier...

I left the parts for about 45 mins. Then I tried to gently blow the water drops off
with a blowy thing, the epoxy moved about a bit, but the water seems to have gone.
I have put another 2coats of epoxy on and it all looks OK.

I can sympathise - I've been waiting more than a couple of weeks for the promised rain showers, eventually gave up waiting and splashed some rattle cans on my project van (too tall to fit under any shelter I have) ... 20 minutes later the light rain started.
It looks like the paint was dry enough that the rain hasn't marked it but the timing couldn't have been worse.
