Just a little update on what i did to mine (dont think its worth making a new thread over) with thanks for the help from @eddie49
hate those sip type wire feed units and torches so replaced the lot with a £27 (or something like that from amazon) chinesium unit
Nice little machine now, feeds as well as my clarke for sure, still needs a little tidying up of cables and fettling but its 99% there
