will be when it has a Garret hanging off itHooligan bike!![]()
not had a bandit before matey...explainYou got the much nicer looking frame out of the two versions![]()
yea reminds me of an old school Harris frame...nice chrome powder coat might work against the black, highlighting the curvesThat's a mk1 curvy frame, the mk2 was supposedly 'better' but it looked terrible imo.
i thought they where dandalions...Agree over pot headshope your getting rid of them ferkin leaves, what is it with numpties and hash?????
Oil cooled I think....Great bikes, cheap and loads about, so there must be plenty in the breakers too. Its the old gsxr air cooled engine in the bandit isn't it ?
Yeah sorry, that did come across a bit anorak-y didn't it!!Yeah well air/oil cooled.
Not sure on this one but ive swapped out a few 2nd gears in the past on big fours just by taking motor out and going in from the bottom by taking off the lower case and leaving the heads/barrels ect intact. I bet its the 2nd gear dogs that have either rounded or snapped like most 2nd,s do. I used to get my gears undercut to avoid this problem as the cut angle dragged the gears closer instead of just relying on the dogs to hold em in.
Daft that the gearbox can't be taken out by removing a side cover like you could with the old british bikes. Having to dismantle an entire engine just to get to one cog is a lot of needless work.
Don't think the Japs have heard of pre-unit construction![]()
