I have watched the video on the 1 micron air bearing lathe a few times in the past. I didn't realise he did a whole series of very interesting videos showing how to build prototypes etc. They seem to cover everything from machining to making simple brackets on press brakes etc.

1 micron?? On a "home made" lathe and he sounds disappointed he didn't write the CNC software himself!
