daft question what size is my welding wire

i got a small welding wire spool with my 2nd hand clark 160en welder and doing my new project of a welder have used up the small roll i have another roll from an 2nd welder but there is no marking on thr real

is this to big a real to be used in the welder or if it fits in the welder does that mean its ok to use it

Just to cheak this will not hert the wire feed motors because it's a large one

looks like a 5kg reel so it should be ok

Make sure is the correct diameter of wire to match your torch tip ! (0.6 or 0.8 mm)
Also don't let go of the end of wire when feeding it into the wire feed rollers cossssss it will unspool. (have cutters ready to hand to trim end for feeding in)

i checked the wire its .56 mm

if you do get 0.8 wire you may need to turn the roller to fit the 0.8 side of the roller and also change the tip to a 0.8 as well 0.8 gasless wire can also be used in - mode if need be if not a +and - clarke welder

if used watch out for alot of jamming as the wire liner may need to be changed an easy job to do as ive just done it myself
