DA sander

Hello,

Basically looking for DA sander to remove the paint off my beetle sell aswell as use it to prep the bug before paint.

I have a WOLF DAKOTA 100 compressor

I realise that the air DA sanders are air hungry and dont know if the above compressor will handle it

So please can you recommend me a DA sander electric or air (if my comp will handle it)

Have a budget of around 100 quid

Also wheres best to get the sanding pads from

Don't bother with an air DA your compressor won't run one, your better of getting an electric one, theres a new Sealey 6" DA 240 volt for 110 + P&P on fleabay at the mo.

Try and get a sander with a round 25mm air extraction outlet (connect vacuum cleaner) and use Abranet pads, makes a big difference to the amount of dust and sanding quality.

Is this one recommended? I guess random orbital is the same as a DA sander?

Just look around the web for the best deal for the DA and discs.

Some disc have a sticky backing and some appear to be a velcro type fixing, ask before you order the discs.

Where abouts in South Cumbria are you???
