cutting profiles

I was making a few rails for a farmer who wanted a few profiles of a rams heads added to them. Suppose he wanted them 'pimped farmer style' lol

I drew these out and cut them freehand, with my rtech plasma, no Picasso but you can defo tell there rams heads?? can't you?

What you can also do if needed is cut some of the lines inside it to define the mouth eyes etc, or have a play at using the plasma torch angled and gouging the lines, this can be very effective.

There's a chap over at Brown Dog Welding who textures his pieces using TIG wire.

Might be a bit risky given the thickness of your sheet though so you could add texture with a cold chisel and hammer.

p.s. Almost forgot to mention that they look pretty cool as they are.

Another idea is to apply details with the Mig welder and a steady hand.
I do this a lot in my work.
