Cutting multiple sheets

Just got myself an ex-demo 50HF from R-Tech. Not used it yet as I need to get my workshop cabling upgraded first, but one question while I'm waiting - If you clamp say, 4 sheets of 1.8mm steel together and cut a pattern out of the top sheet, will the other 3 separate afterwards or does the arc fuse them all together?

I'm not surprised hat great with my plasma cutter but I have tried the above with 3 sheets of 1mm to save time and they got stuck together in places and needed more clean up.
