Cutting disk for aluminum

I have a large green house to dismantle and scrap, planning on using a standard 125mm grinder to cut up the frame, will a normal slitting disk cope or will the aluminium clog it up, if so recommendations for some dedicated disks please.

The alloy would be worth somthing as scrap, but if you offer it free to collector on Facebook, then you won't have to buy cutting discs!

Sawzall with a course blade may also be a consideration, if the thin discs don't work so well.

one disk should do the whole thing!

The thin 1mm discs will work OK, not the fastest but if you use them on the edges of the material instead of the flats, it will help the disc wear faster than it clogs.
Sawzall or plasma would be my choice if there's loads to do.

Just ordered a sawzall to make life easier, and good excuse to and to the tool store

Plasma would be ideal but no where to plug it and the compressor in unfortunately

Slitting disc and some candle wax to stop it clogging.

tbfh for an ally green house I'd just fold the metal up, they're not that strong once the glass is out.

i have a heard of folks using stone cutting discs on ally, but no experience myself.

Candle wax and a thin (0,8) slitting disk but as above I’d just smash it up.

Won’t take anything to wreck that. It’ll be brittle as hell and will snap on the bolt holes I would think.
