I want to cut lots of 40mm x 40mm angle on my chop saw. A big Revolution metal blade one.
It has a mitre on the saw fence that can be moved.
Problem I have I dont have enough room to cut a 6m length at 45 in my garage unless I position the saw at 45 degrees so the length can lay on my work bench instead of sticking out into the room at 45 degrees.
Also when it's set at 45 degrees and I tighten the vice on the saw it pushes the piece of metal towards the blade the more you tighten it so it cuts short from the original measurement.
Any tips most welcomed
