Cut off saw help required.

I'm looking into buying a cut off saw for cutting a max of 3mm walled box section, which would hopefully be easily flush mounted/demounted on the end of my bench.
The one I have at the moment has a TCT blade and is ok but such a lump, far larger and heavier than required, hence looking at changing it for something smaller and lighter.
Now the bit that I can't decide on and that's blade choice. Do I stay with TCT or consider an abrasive bladed version ?
My angle grinders seem to get through abrasive cutting blades in no time but they're cheap compared to the blade in my chop saw.
Which to go for, TCT or abrasive ???

Get a second/third tct blade and find a local saw blade sharpening company. Then swap them before they're totally blunt...

Def the carbide route...
I sold off my 2abrasive chop saws and bought the bigger Rage model.....
I'll never go back.....as for hot chips, never been a prob....
Mine gets used a lot, only 2mods I’d make, yet to do....
Bin the screw vice for a quick release and double the size of the thread...
At 45 deg cuts the screw thread is a bit soft....
But hey what do ya expect for a couple of hundred quid...

There appear to be 2 different vices on the R2 or are they different model run the videos the first one the vice shown is not the vice in the video it would appear to be a beefed up version

As others Mentioned, buy a cold cut saw and bin the abrasive idea, it makes more sense using TCT blades- far less dust and cold chippings as well. I don’t cut inside the workshop but outside as I don’t want dust and metal shavings all over my bench and tools !
I have the dewalt cold cut saw and apart from the rubbish pressed steel base I cannot fault it ! I probably will mill a solid alloy base for it at some point as the angle settings are quite a bit off !

Has anyone got the EV2 with the heavier duty clamp as shown in the first video ? is it a replacement for the original that looks like pressed tin, if so is there a different model No.
Looking for something smaller than our MMac for home
