After I made the garden stools a while back the users wanted some tools. Long handled tools were too long to use while sat down and the shorter tools were too short.
So quick trip to the recycling centre and I came back with some old British made implements, missing the handles.
I cut down the rake head to give the required width. The trowel had a taper matched to fit in the socket and with an interference fit into the handle. Thin wall SS made the handles, finished with brass plugs
Painted in orange, as that’s the first tin that came to hand.
Only criticism is that the SS is a bit on the heavy side. Next ones will be Aluminium. Other than that they are reported to be perfect
