Hi Folks,
So the flat which we have bought and are currently renovating has the worst kitchen sink in the world. It's practically unusable.
The kitchen is a long narrow Galley style kitchen which ends at a window. At the window, the wall butts in at each side of the window which narrows the usable space. The previous owners have put a small round bowl style kitchen sink at the window, far from the edge of the worktop and in an awkward position to get to.
I understand their reasoning. However it has been poorly thought out and it's causing a headache. We don't have a dishwasher and so we have to try and wash dishes at this wee sink!
So my question is, would it be prohibitively expensive to have a kitchen sink modified? I'm thinking of turning a standard stainless sink with drain board into a sort of L shaped affair.
Or getting a custom L shaped stainless sink made?
Can anyone who works in custom fabrication give an idea of cost?
Also, are we allowed to ask for work to be done on this forum?
Cheers!
