Curving aluminium pedal extensions

Hi all,

I've gotten a set of these 'pre-curved' aluminium pedal extensions:

Which are of course, totally flat.

Anybody have any recommendation for how to go about curving these to match the pedals they're going on? My immediate thought is to stick them in a vice, warm them up with a propane torch and crank on the free end with some pliers, but if anybody here has a better idea I would be very grateful to hear it.

Get someone to 3d print you a press form. Or just carve them out of wood....

Guess it depends on the severity of the curve or bends you want to put on them but it's surprising how far you can get with progressive dies,

However you curve them you might find they bend in sections, across the perforated lines. If they’re advertised as curved, send them back.

stick two plates / bars in front and a bar or socket behind ,,, and use the vise as a press
if you use sockets you could knock three nails in a bit of wood to slip the sockets over and hold things in situ then preheat and lift the lot into the vise and tighten it from there

send them back and get the correct ones...with the holes in them i cant see them bending uniformly unless you have both sides of a die to bend them with...

you could make something from wood or even steel (and wrap the pedals with tape to protect them) and then press the shape into them but personally id just send them back for a refund and save myself the hassle of it going wrong

Genuine OMP have a different logo, are these knock-offs?
Are they 3mm or 5mm thick? The 5mm version has an antislip insert.

Yeah I'm really not sure about trying to curve these myself, don't have any of the machinery to do it 'properly'. Unfortunately I've already ripped up the packaging because I was sure I could just whack it with a hammer and bend it, so I'll have to see how nice they are feeling about the situation.

They seem legit, I did buy them from a reputable site who have a London showroom. I guess the idea with these flat ones is to be universal so those with the means can curve them to their particular pedals, or leave them flat. I would leave them flat but not sure how effectively they'll interface with the curved pedals, if at all...
