Curving 30mm box section

Has anyone successfully put a curve in box section using a press, I want to put a curve in some for the tops of 2 drive gates but no way of doing it other then build a press with a former. Tia

How sharp a bend? You could use the kerf cut and weld method.

Just sub it to someone with a ring roller...too far from me probably but what about @nickk ?

Or cheat and do what I did for my gate
Plasma cut sides and then welded top and bottom plates on.

Ive done it with a flypress, if doing a matching pair tack them together side by side and bend them together, I would make them longer than needed too, then cut then to length after bending, then you can get the curves right to the end rather than having a flat.

Good idea but I was always going to build a press but never had a reason to get on with it until now
