So... my little beast has no centre stand, and to take the flywheel cover off to access the timing marks, I need to loosen the footrest (which is connected to the side stand). A paddock stand is needed, which also means its no longer a 2 man job to lube the chain too.
A good excuse for another project - I threw together a paddock stand.
Welded (snotted) some old 14mm sockets to some 25x25 angle. The sockets fit inside the end of 25x25 box with little slack allowing them to turn/pivot from the lower suspension mounts.

Too lazy to work out and cut angles, I had some gaps to bridge/fill
All welded up
It works!
Now just to tidy it up and give it a lick of paint. Probably will put a handle on the back to make it easier to pull the stand back up.
