did bust a rear leaf spring but made it.....hahaha

Was towing a 6,10m caravan tho....
In shorts n T shirt....a little shower but still warm.....
Honey bees n butterfly's still flying....
Came across a preying mantis as well today.....

Just gotta build a small house n 14x14m barn.....
That should keep me busy for a year.....

Emptied the pee soup from the pool and evicted 1/2 doz frogs.....
loadsa fun....

went there many years ago, the locals were amazingly friendly if you were English, they have long memories :whistle:

i remember seeing an old farmers truck struggling up a hill, on the door i could still see the painted over German cross. enjoy yourself, it,s cold wet n windy here :rolleyes:

Ditto, arranged to meet my wife in a small restaurant for breakfast, while on holiday in Crete. I had to call at the supermarket first for some shaving foa m. When I got there she was almost in tears (she’s 5’ 10” & blonde & her predecessors moved from Germany to England before WW1) They thought she was German (which in a way she part is) & treat her as though she was, long memories as you say. When I arrived dark haired & much more your typical brit, they couldn't do enough for us.
