Crap sealant eater

Big thumbs down on this ***** from toolstation.

You have to go over the sealant twice(25minutes a time) before it even looks like its gone but in different light theres still faint traces of the sealant.

£3.51 and I can get a better joke in the joke shop.

I've used the one from Screwfix and that works. You still have to put a bit of effort in though.

I use acetone. But depends what surface the sealent is on as the acetone will dull/melt paint and plastics.

The stuff I use (am using right now) to re seal the shower came from PTS ages ago, most of the writing has rubbed off but it looks to be the same colours as Dow Corning sealant

One pass and the sealant just evaporates

acryllc is water based and goes hard silicone isnt and its flexible give it a prod with a screwdriver and u will tell one is like plastic the other is spongy
