Starting to feel human again.
No sense of taste or smell yet.
The aking body and bad head have subsided .
I have been off work as advised .
If i test negative should be ok for monday
Strange thing the wife tested positive but has no symptoms .
I had them all .
It is bad when your hair hurts

I had it a few months ago, same symptoms as @doubleboost worst syptoms were over by day 3 but had extreme tiredness and constantly feeling sick for another 7 days

I’ve not had it yet. Which surprises me, wife works in the hospital and deals with covid patients weekly

Had it a few weeks ago, knocked me out completely for three days and left me feeling like I'd donated six pints of blood for another week. Do not rush back to work, you'll feel dreadful and set yourself back.
Weirdly, the wife got it and just had a really sore throat for a couple of days but felt fine otherwise.

The missus and I had it for the first time immediately after new year. We both had loss of taste and smell but other than that our symptoms were different. She had a continuous dry cough and mildish headaches whereas I had aches, pains and chills and night sweats. We were both a bit rough but ok to work from home (which I do anyway).

The good news is that we’ve not had any symptoms at all since, despite having been at two “super spreader” events. It’s a (very) strange virus!

Nearly hospitalised my wife due to asthma

All 3 kids were quite poorly too. Eldest bounced back quick but the younger two took longer.

Thanks mum. Glad you didn't have to miss the party despite knowing it was a very likely possibility. :/

All vaccinated and all managed to avoid it until then.

She's not my favourite person right now.

I’m sorry to hear that. There really doesn’t appear to be any “logic” when it comes to how the virus will affect each individual (if it affects them at all).

Being in a very low risk group my wife and I decided to decline the vaccines and rely on getting infected and building immunity that way, which so far appears to have worked. She’s actually an identical twin and her sister got all of her jabs (so that she could go on holiday last year more than anything) yet seems more prone to picking up symptomatic infections. Nothing serious but symptomatic nevertheless. It’s doesn’t make sense (to me anyway).

It is bad when your hair hurts

I couldn't put my head on my pillow in bed it hurt so much and all my joints ached especially my neck. My wife tested negative but had all the symptoms so we both stayed in. 3 weeks ago and I'm clear now but still have cold like symptoms of snotty nose and cough and still tired.

We've done the same, late 20s so we didn't bother with it either.

Tested positive last week and had mild symptoms. Worst was a fever for a few days and a bad back. Maybe luck of the draw like you said, a variant with milder symptoms perhaps? or an age thing?

Probably a combination of all three, along with overall health and some genetic susceptibility. Why symptoms vary so much though is is a mystery!

Went to Spain last week , 2 days into the holiday granddaughter overheated , took her to the hospital and they diagnosed covid, everyone else was fine , kept her in for a few days in the airconnned room and she was good to go , only 9 months old !

Up until about 15 years ago (25yo)
I never got Ill. Had an abundance of energy.

Then it went downhill fast from there.

Get everything going these days.

Usually not too bad but lingers on for ages.

never seen a doctor till over 30 years old it creeps up then after 40 its a down hill slope so savor it while it lasts

Yep big time creeps up...Why do we get youth but no brains, when we know the score fully we are starting to wilt and die. Should be the other way round

We've not had it either. Wife is an ICU nurse in one of the worst hit areas in the country.

Pure steadfast diligence on her part.

not realy i took a friend to hospital in my van and was well ill coughing and barking and had celulitis admitted and tested with covid as well . i never caught it and have worked none stop in a load of old folks houses who had carers going in touch wood havent caught anything
