After a good few months searching, I managed to find a course that's 1 day a week after 5pm... (ie to fit in with my job).
It's called the ABC level2 ? (new version of C&G i read somwhere) and it's £300ish for 20 weeks, that's £15 per thursday per week, I spend more money on beer on a thursday than that! it's a money _saver_
Anyway, if anyone lives round Buxton (the part of the University of Derby that's at Buxton) it's there.

I'm certainly gonna be considering this, if nothing else it'll give me/others an intoduction to TIG they wouldn't normally get as it's not in most people's nature to splash out on a £1000 AC TIG machine, to 'see if they like it'.
they also run the level 3 course, which is obviously a progression from the level 2 (no level1 ?)
All comments welcomed. and if someone's allready posted this then I'm sorry!
Cheers,
James.
