Count Your Clamps!

My other half asked me how many clamps I had the other day and I had no idea at all, so I decided to count them! How many have you got? As for me (with pictures in case the names are considered ambiguous!):

	C Clamps: 4	(I didn't count other types of locking pliers)
	F Clamps: 27	Of which 10 are the ratcheting sort and 2 are the parallel jaw sort
	G Clamps: 25
	Bar/Sash/Pipe Clamps: 16	Of which 8 are home-made
	Quick-action/one-handed clamps: 14
	Cantilever clamps: 10	Of which 2 are home-made
	Spring Clamps: 23
	Carver/Rak Clamps: 2
	Toolmaker's Clamps: 4
	Mitre Clamps: 2

I think that comes to a total of 127 clamps.

I still haven't got enough though (especially F-Clamps)

I'm sure there are lots of people on this forum who are going to have WAY more than that...

I just bought a box of record clamps 6x6" and 9 others various smaller sizes, along with other assorted clamps in the box, well it seemed rude to refuse them when they were only £20 , I asked if they were sure and didnt bid them down although they thought that they were rather dirty ! and was I sure.

Was offered 4 at a car booty but they were near mint , and he wanted a tenner each ? so as he was relatively young guy and looking at what else he was selling my suspicions were aroused , decided to walk away as Ihave a consience

me too ,,, but id have had four clamps and a conscience too....

Ive about thirty clamps ,, and twenty pairs of vise grips assorted , , Im starting to feel clamp envy now though.

although four corner clamps like the op ones have proven to be one of the handiest things I ever bought .

I got a C clamp in a set, first time using it last week, I could use a few more!

1 each of F clamp, mitre, tool maker and bar clamp.
5 spring clamps
10 quick action
4x 6" and 6x smaller, G clamps.
There are a few more somewhere. The quick actions are a bit rubbish but get by far the most use.

You know what, this has actually been the most perfect way to unwind (with a couple of bottles of chilled Peroni) this evening after a day of questioning why I work with children - thanks @Dr.Al !
