Could someone print this.

Needing someone who could print this in ABS. This is just a rough sketch as I need to check a few things first but it would be more or less like this.

And sizes.

Yep, the sharp internal corners and thin section are not great though, if you can get a fillet rad in and accommodate that on the part it’ll help

The internal corners need to be sharp as a clip fits in there but that could be fettled later on with a sharp knife. The underside sharp corner needs to butt up against a panel but the panel could likely be pared to suit a radius there.
I may get away with making the top angled section higher/thicker but not sure yet as I would need to take off the panel to see how much room is there.

It is a mounting point on a panel for my bike which somehow got snapped off, I suspect the person who fitted the tracker never noticed the concealed button head cap screw and tried to pull the panel off thus snapping this lug.

I am assuming the panel is ABS but not sure but I need a plastic that is able to be glued and I believe ABS is a good candidate, then again if the panel is not ABS then...

I was going to machine it but can't seem to find square/rectangular stock of ABS for me to do so.

I may be able to come up with another method of fixing if printing this is not possible or if the plastic type of panel/part are not suitable for gluing and could likely even make it from stainless if that is the case.

I’ve had good results from gluing PLA and PETG with superglue. Happy to help out if needed. The thin section between the flat part and the angled section would worry me though. If you send the STL or STP file I will give it a go then we could work out whether it needs modification.

Robin I may have a small round block of delrin at home which could be suitable for machining.
(Don't know how it would bond on though)

Thanks, I have loads of bits of Acetal/Delrin but I think it is one of the worst plastics for gluing sadly

I will draw it up in fusion and then should be able to export to a suitable format, whatever that may be?

I "think" (possibly rather hopefully) I can import the model in any format. I use Prusa Slicer which has just been upgraded to allow the import and slicing of STP files as well as standard STL. So don't worry too much about the format, let me learn how to do it if it's not straightforward.

Ok just had a look, panel is ABS as I suspected but also has Polyethylene, not sure if that is mixed in with the ABS or just a part of it is, might possibly be the small part of 3M snaplock tape?

Anyway I have loads of room above the part so don't even need it angled, the tab bit slides in here on the bike.

Will have to see what angle the back section needs to be in relation to the tab, once I get that I can draw something up and see what people think.

I am not sure of the angle of the underside as I don't have a protractor here so that would need confirmed before I do the final drawing but just wanted to see if you thought that would print fine as I know nothing about the process.

Also looked up and it seems acetone should work well for joining PLA and ABS.

That looks better from the perspective of withstanding some load. I don't think PLA is affected by acetone in the same way ABS is so either your bit needs printing in ABS or joined using superglue. (IMHO).

Sickaflex 221 or tiger sealwill stick but takes 24 hours to cure they stick car panels and camper van roofs with it

Ok, stupid me, I do have a protractor here as I have CAD, paper, a printer and some scissors

Ok so now I know the angle I am able to do the model.
Have a couple of options whichever would be easiest/quickest to do.
First is solid

Radius could be added on most parts if it is easier, such as

The only places it would be preferable to be as sharp a corner as possible are in the pocket and at the join of the angle underneath although these could be filed to suit.
