Could I have some opinions on this?

OK, so here is my dilemma.

I have been looking for a plasma cutter, just a cheap one to cut mostly auto panels. I have been wanting to try Tig for a while too, but have no need to weld Aluminium so only need a DC unit, looking around I found something interesting.

I know I am in danger of being ridicculed here, but I have found this on ebay and am thinking it might be worth a punt.

I know it is a Chinese made machine, but surely under £300 for a DC tig, MMA and Plasma cutter all in one with all the accessories and from a UK supplier must be worth a go.

I have looked at the sellers feedback and it is almost 100% and many of these units have been sold.

Should I take a chance?

I was wondering about some I have seen also,why are plasma cutters so high in price,what's the big deal,are they made of gold?

go on take a punt........Looks like an ideal machine for a petrol head/ welder/ hobbyist,

If I didn't already have a mig, dc tic and a cut40 plasma, to play with I'd take a punt...

I'd really like to see it in action.....

The main problem with these 3in1 machines is hit and miss build quality; for every success story I've read on t'interweb, I've read another account of either failure soon after delivery or DOA/not working at all. As all of these combo devices are made in China, spare parts supply can be erratic and postage charges punitive when repairs are required. If you are a gambling man and only need it for hobby stuff go ahead, you may get lucky. An added problem is that a failure usually means all 3 functions cease and the fun stops.

my philosophy is one machine one job irespective of where its made when it s,.,.,.gs out u still have the other 2 cheaper to replace thing is its guaranteed for a year probs so cane hell out of it if it packs in get another free
