One of the repair panels needed for my bus, isnt available to buy and will need to be fabricated.
You can see in this picture, it is the piece above the engine lid that the hinges attach to -
It is rotten and needs replacing.
It is basically a flat piece of steel about 1.5 metres in length, folded into this sort of cross section -
Now I would be prepared to have a got at folding this myself, all be it between two pieces of angle iron in a metal work vice.
How would I get the bottom rolled shape on it?
This is for a rubber seal to fit against.
Could it be done at home or is it worth giving a few quid to a local steel company to do it for me?
