Cost to fit 32a socket in Cheshire

So, I need to fit a 32a socket to power a welder and a plasma cutter. They will be used in the shed outside. How much would it be to supply and fit it? Rough figures please.

Do you have a power supply to the shed, if not cable run and size needs to be taken into costs?

Would it not be better to consider having a 16amp socket installed?

Consumer unit is in the living room by the house's front wall. I can put the 32a socket on the other side of the wall outside pretty much opposite the consumer unit.

When you say most of the work, do you mean drill a hole through the front wall myself?
Actually I've just realised, there's a 13a socket on the front wall outside that isn't working for whatever reason.
I can remove that and use the hole through the wall for that for the 32a socket.

They can remove the 13a socket and cable for me and replace with a 32a I expect

That should be quite a bit less than £300, then. I was basing my rough estimate on having to run armoured cable down to a shed 60 feet away from the house, with the consumer unit in a less than ideal place for the job. As bourbon said, not enough info to start with

Check there is a spare space in the fuse box for an extra breaker first..

Where is your meter? Would it be easier to connect there and put a consumer unit in the shed?
