Hello all, new to the forum and have a question straight away!
I have just been given a Cosmo 170 gas gasless mig for nothing, its brand new and all its missing is the shroud, retaining spring and tip. Now the shroud and spring are fine, I picked those up at my local motor factors but the tips I got were too big. I should mention I already have a mig that ny dad gave me which takes these 'regular' tips, as does every other mig I have come across. The tips required for my Cosmo look to be a smaller thread all research points to M5, could anyone confirm this?
Finally I plan to run the Cosmo on gas, how do I know if its set for gas or gasless?
Any advice would be appreciated!
