It appears to me when the middle switch is in MAX position the right switch is not in the circuit.
That would mean :-
High - Max - Null (doesn't matter Med or Min no change )
High - On - Med
High - On - Min
That's 3 settings and the same would apply to the Low range making it 6 settings.
In your first post this is reflected with the 32 volt result and the 45 volt result.
I was wondering myself why it would say six settings instead of eight
Also those voltages seem really close to exactly double the expected voltages.
Even the steps between voltages are almost exactly double.
Almost like it has become a full wave rectifier rather than center tapped.
Sounds like migmug has the answer to the voltage problem though.
