I've cut plenty of copper waste pipes out, 2" heavy wall, with huge brass fittings.
I'v seen copper gutters and standing seam roofs in Austria. Last all of 45 seconds in the UK
That lengths like £400-£500 new in UK? No it probably would last long hereNot seen this before...currently holidaying on lake Maggiore, copper down pipes seem the norm.View attachment 510884
Mates scummy ex son in law had the move to a new council house postponed due to somebody breaking on and nicking all the copper pipework and electrical cables ! When eventually repaired, and he'd moved in, he took us to his lock-up to show a recent car purchase. Surprise, surprise at back of the lock-up was a big pile of copper pipe and electrical cable. Pond life had nicked it himselfIt won't last long when the low-lifes see it either. A friend of mine lives an a small block of flats and woke up to no gas one morning to find that the external copper gas pipes that ran up the outside of the wall to her flat had been cut off and stolen.....
Luckily the low life that did it broke the meter cupboard open and turned off the supply.
I didn't know copper external gas pipes were even legal, but apparently they are.
wont even last that long lay them out to fit in grangetown and the scrotes next door fly out and nick stuff even double extension laddersI've cut plenty of copper waste pipes out, 2" heavy wall, with huge brass fittings.

Should have used plastic !With clean copper scrap fetching £6 per kg that would be gone in seconds. Our local council built a bathroom on a travellers site, all of the copper and brass were gone after just a day
